YMCA After-School Program Registration packets are now available for the YMCA's After School Program. Students may pick one up in the school office. Limited space is available. The program will begin on Monday, September 13. STAG Any student interested in STAG (Students Talking About God) may meet on Thursday mornings at 7:45 in the choir room. STAG is led by student, Tyler Webb. OMS T-Shirts OMS t-shirts are on sale now for $12. Please turn your order form and money into your homeroom teacher. You will receive your t-shirts on Friday each week. Sweatshirt orders are also being taken on a pre-pay basis and will arrive late September. PTO Memberships Join the PTO! Homerooms with 100% membership will receive a pizza party. (Teachers will receive a $25 gift card.) Don't miss out on a free pizza. Join PTO today! Forms are available from homeroom teachers or on the webiste under Parents and Membership. WVHS Discount Cards Mrs. Key is selling WVHS discount cards for $10 each. See Mrs. Key in room 128 ASAP to get yours! Wrestling Wrestling pre-season conditioning will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 - 4:30 in the wrestling room in the 6th grade hallway. Anyone interested must have a physical and should see Coach Justice in room 413 in the 8th grade hallway. Drama Tryouts Tryouts for the fall play, "Hollywood Hillbillies", are Tuesday, Sept. 7. for 7th and 8th graders and Wednesday, Sept. 8 for 6th graders. All interested should report to the gymatorium stage at 3:20 on the designated day. Pick-up is 5:00. The cast list will be posted in the library on Friday. Girl's Basketball Any 6th or 7th grade girl interested in playing basketball for OMS should stop by Ms. Goins' room for more information in the 6th grade hallway. |
