Welcome back to an exciting year at Ocoee Middle School.  I enjoyed meeting the students either Thursday at orientation or Monday in class.  I am looking forward to a great year of teaching science.  Please take a few minutes sometime this week to review the student handbook in the agenda.  The agenda has proven to be a very effective tool of communication when students write in the assignments on a daily basis and the parents take time to review the agenda at some point in the week.  If you have questions for me concerning the class or your child. please feel free to contact me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Homeroom - Please remember to discuss PTO Membership with your parents.  Any homeroom with 100% participation receives a pizza party!  Also, PTO is selling t-shirts.  They are grey, and PTO will sponsor a new t-shirt day on Wednesday, October 6.

HOMEROOM - Please try to sell at least one item or make a $5 donation so that we can have 100% participation.  Remember this money goes to help with daily costs that OMS encounters.

 General Announcements:   $30 Materials Fee (paid to the homeroom teacher)and a $5 Science Lab Fee(to Mrs. Beaty) will continue to be collected.  Any of the extra supplies should also be given to the homeroom teacher...Kleenex, paper towels, spray cleaner, hand sanitizer, and disinfecting wipes.

THANK YOU to those of you who have already brought in some of these supplies.  There will be an ongoing need as the cold and flu season approaches, so I appreciate the head start we will have!!

PTO Membership forms-Don't forget to join PTO!!!!! They are very involved in making our school all that it can be!!!!
